Subway goes digital in Europe with kiosks, app, revamped loyalty program

Subway has joined many of its competitors in rolling out self-serve kiosks in-store. The kiosks are coming to key European markets including the UK, Finland and Germany, according to a Restaurant Online reportThe kiosks will be connected to kitchen display systems and order-ready screens, improving speed, quality and accuracy of order fulfillment. Subway is also launching a new app with a reimagined loyalty program, Subway Rewards. "Europe is leading Subway's global digital evolution by providing guests with an elevated in-restaurant and online experience and more ways for them to order their favorite subs," Carrie Wals, president of Subway Europe, Middle East and Africa, told the news outlet.
